How Was Business Before Agency Mavericks?

Before Agency Mavericks, I was working very haphazardly.

The business really wasn’t at a state that I wanted it to be in. I knew that was something I needed to fix. Basically even interaction with clients, the way I was delivering things, it was always just very reactive with what I was doing.

I was almost at the brink of being burnt out if I wasn’t already burnt out, working many, many extra hours. Work was always on my mind, I was hardly ever getting weekends. I remember just before I joined Agency Mavericks, I think it was just around Easter time, I worked all of Easter. I was really excited to do that because I got a new client but I took less pay to get a client for some reason. I worked the whole of Easter and then afterwards it just was like, “Well that's not good”. It was just a cycle that was going to keep repeating.

Yeah it wasn’t the best of times and it went on for quite a while.

How Did You First Discover Agency Mavericks?

I think it was the podcast that first got me introduced into WP elevation. I listened to a couple of episodes and then I heard, actually I saw on one of the blog spots about the community and there was a bit of talk about a community that actually existed within Agency Mavericks.

That was kind of the thing that I was really craving. There were more people out there like me, that were going through these problems and helping each other out. There was a structure and courses involved and I was like,
“Oh wow this is exactly what I've been looking for.”

I wanted someone else’s knowledge that I could just jump right in and implement that straight into my business.

Why Did You Join Agency Mavericks?

I think a couple of people mentioned this not too long ago – it is kind of like it is like oxygen for the business basically. It totally is. When you are coming up with a problem, you can rely on Agency Mavericks. The courses, the knowledge you’ve got and the community to support you. One of the first things I’ll do if I think of basically anything to do with my business now is post it out to the community, to just get some feedback.

I’ll post helpful things. I’ll ask questions and there will be interaction all the time, and it is so refreshing not to be left alone.

The community aspect is amazing, but also the structure in which I actually deliver my projects now is just so much better.

It is so much more streamlined that I am not doing the same thing over and over again. I actually have an assistant and I've got a bit of a team that I am growing at the moment. A lot of the emails that I was really stressing about every day, they just get solved without me having to just lose sleep over them all the time, so I can wake up thinking about what I am going to achieve in the day as opposed to dreading what I am going to be doing.

How's Business Since Agency Mavericks?

The difference now with the clients that I take on is that I get to choose which clients they are, and I am not so desperate as to just take on any work that comes my way. They have to meet certain criteria now and I have recurring revenue built into my business. I've got good clients and I am actually heading in a particular direction as opposed to just putting out fires and whatever is coming my way. I can be clear about who my clients are and who my target customers are. When a prospect comes in, they go through the process and when they come out the other side I can see if they are right for my business or not, as opposed to just quickly taking the job on like you need the money quickly.

So the process has just been amazing to be able to help my business grow the way it needs to.

Why Should People Join Agency Mavericks?

They can rely on a system that someone else has tried and tested. Not just someone else but many, many businesses have tried and tested the system and it absolutely works.

It is basically the savior for your business.

For anyone who is considering joining, I would say that this is an investment in your business; for the courses, for the community of like-minded people. it is like having x amount of business partners who are wanting you to succeed at the same time and having a mentor. All of these different courses altogether, all of these resources you can implement in your business. You can tweak them to suit your business and they work.

They’ve been tested and tweaked and they work and yeah it will take your business to the next level.
