The three factors at play right now that make this the perfect time in our history to grow your digital agency.
How to future-proof your business and beat out the competition.
How to access over $6K worth of free training and resources that will almost guarantee your success and give you the freedom you’re looking for.
You need better processes and maybe even to grow your team to make sure your projects are profitable and less stressful or,
You either need more clients, or better quality clients.
You need to increase your recurring revenue so you can get off the feast and famine hamster wheel of project work.
There’s lots of crazy stuff happening in the world right now. The OECD recently published a report predicting that the global economy is at risk and is facing its biggest danger since the global financial crisis and this has prompted Governments around the world to pour billions of dollars into their economies to stimulate growth. They usually don’t do that without good reason.
The only way to secure your future in these uncertain times is to have your hands firmly on the wheel and to be in control of your own destiny.
Look, having your own small business is a fantastic way to express yourself as a creative human being and bring some more beauty into the world. It’s also a great way to get freedom over how you spend your time and it gives you the opportunity to secure your financial future.
Elementor, a page building plugin that makes it super easy to build websites recently raised $15 million in investment from a VC firm. Of course hosting companies have been acquiring other hosting companies and security companies and theme companies and plugin companies. And the Google search trend for “Digital Marketing” is on a fairly rapid incline.
What this all means, is that the demand for what it is you do as a web designer or a digital marketer is only going to grow.
You get to do creative, fulfilling work with great clients that have an impact on the world. And the margins are really high because we’re selling digital services.
But perhaps the most appealing thing about the digital agency business model is the freedom it gives you to work from wherever you want, with whoever you want on the projects that excite you.
So if you want to travel the world and run your business from your laptop, like James from Seriously Good Design, or travel the country in an RV with your kids and manage your team from the road like Amber and Chris from Road Warrior Creative, or work from home so you can spend more time with your kids like Samantha from Neapolitan Creative. Whatever YOUR version of freedom is, a Digital Agency is a great business model to support that freedom.
The average person spends more time online than all other media outlets combined.
And by the year 2040, 95% of all retail purchases will be facilitated in some way by e-commerce
of all web traffic will be video by the end of 2021.
of internet users state that they don't trust banner ads, yet 98% of online advertisers say they waste money on, you guessed it, banner ads
of digital ad spend is on mobile
of small businesses in Australia and the US don't even have a website
Half of those say that they are planning on launching a website in the next 12 months.
I started building websites in my spare room for around $1200 and quickly scaled up to $25K websites in a very short space of time just by re-positioning myself from a “web designer” to a “consultant”.
I got to work on some pretty cool projects, including FebFast, a charity that raises money by asking participants to get sponsored to give up alcohol for the month of February, the Victorian Alcohol and Drug Association, which does amazing work as the peak body for non-profits in the drug and alcohol sector in Victoria, and Jessica Watson, an Australian girl who sailed around the world by herself in a Yacht at the age of 16!!!
I managed to support my fiancé, who was studying full time at university to become a psychologist. I’m very proud to say that now she is a psychologist as well as my wife and a great Mother.
So all I had to do was talk to the clients and sell them more consulting services to help them achieve what they wanted. This gave me the luxury to start to pick and choose the projects I accepted and reduced a lot of stress. It also gave me the freedom to travel with my wife once she’d graduated. I’m not going to bore you with all the photos of our adventures around the world ‘cos that’s all a bit cheesy for my liking. I’ll leave that to all those “internet gurus”.
Here’s what usually happens in the traditional digital agency model: a potential client comes along and expresses interest in what it is you do. You immediately drop everything and hurry along to meet them in the hope that they will become your next client. The first thing you have to work out is whether or not they have realistic expectations and a realistic budget.
But let’s pretend for the sake of this exercise that they have a decent budget, and they know what it is they want to achieve. They’ll spend some time picking your brain and unpacking your intellectual property and your experience to help them understand what is and isn’t possible. Then at the end of this first meeting, which could last from 45 minutes to two hours, they’ll ask you to send them a proposal.
You’ll go home or back to the office, Google “proposal templates” or use the one you’ve already got on file, which is probably mine and send them a proposal and hope for the best.
If you don’t hear from them for a few days it’s because they don’t understand what it is you’re saying in the proposal or their suffering a mild case of sticker shock. Or in other words they’re trying to figure out why this costs so much.
Once you manage to get on the same page about the budget and they actually pay you a deposit, chances are they will then start to micromanage you, tell you which software you should be using, fail to give you any of the content they said they had organized and then expect you to pull an all nighter and some miracles, to launch their website by the launch date, which of course they failed to tell you until now.
Now of course not all clients are like this. Some clients are very compliant, pleasant to deal with, respect your process and value your worth.
These are all symptoms of you, not having a clear process for the client to follow. See, in the absence of your process, the clients will invent one themselves, and they are not equipped to invent this process. That’s why things end up sideways. I’m sorry to say but it’s actually your lack of process or your lack of discipline in following that process that allows this to happen in the first place.
The new way to grow your digital agency is to position yourself as the authority, have clients apply to work with you and then delight those clients with such an incredible customer experience that they willingly provide you with streams of recurring revenue. This may sound like the stuff of fairy tales, but the reality is, it’s all driven by processes and is actually quite simple to implement.
It may require you to let go of your existing beliefs about what you’re actually worth and be prepared to earn more than you’ve ever imagined.
According to Bloomberg, 80% of Small businesses will fail – and the digital marketing and web space is becoming more and more competitive every day.
There are over 200K freelancers on Upwork with either web design or digital marketing in their skills. And before you dismiss Upwork as a way to get clients, here’s a quick story about Victor. Victor took some of the frameworks he discovered from this training and applied it to the way he attracted leads from Upwork. He became so successful, that Upwork took notice, reached out to him and asked him if they could use him as a case study, and then put his photo on a billboard in Times Square in NYC.
Now a lot of people ask me why? If you really had this figured out, why don’t you just keep it to yourself and make lots of money? Why are you sharing it with everyone else? And for me it comes down to maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Abraham Maslow was an American psychologist in the 1900s.
In 1943 he published a paper called “A Theory of Human Motivation” in which he outlined his beliefs around what motivates human behavior. It’s become known as Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and it looks like a pyramid.
On the bottom of this pyramid are physiological needs.
Food, shelter, sleep. Now most of us are fortunate enough to have this sorted out.
Once those needs have been met we move towards safety.
Personal, emotional and financial security.
After that, we’re motivated by social belonging.
A feeling of love from our tribe. I believe this is where most of us spend the majority of our time, wanting to feel connected to the people around us, connected to our families and our communities.
This was definitely a big driver for me when I started to get feedback on the training materials I was developing back in 2013.
Next is self-esteem.
This is about the ego. Getting recognition, status, importance, and respect from others. In all honesty, I think this is what motivates me now more than anything, to keep producing great training for you guys.
The validation. The gratitude. The feeling that I’m making a positive contribution.
That’s why I keep doing what I’m doing. The final level of need, is self actualization. This is the need to fulfil your full potential and we could spend many months debating whether or not we’ll ever meet this need. Later in life Maslow also started exploring transcendence, but that’s a topic for another day.
So I hope that helps to explain why I do what I do. I just really enjoy helping people and it makes me feel good about myself when I see success stories coming out of our tribe.
Brinard shared a win in our community group when he landed his biggest project to date. An $18K commitment from a client to build a relatively easy website. And he added that he would never have had the confidence to propose that much without the support and training from the Agency Mavericks community.
Eric shared a win when he got his first client to follow his process, a short call, then they filled in the application form, they scored 14 on the scorecard and then booked in for a 45 minutes Go Wide Go Deep call.
Don’t worry, you’ll learn all about Go Wide Go Deep in the program.
And Jessica shared a win when she landed her first proposal using the blueprint. “The class has paid off. It was kinda cool because I started the blueprint right when a new lead came in, so week by week I was able to implement the action items on an actual lead! Very excited!”
Alright, so let’s get into the nuts and bolts. The digital agency blueprint is going to help you construct an entry point to your business, regardless of whether your leads are coming via referral, or via the breadcrumbs you’re leaving in your travels.
Don’t worry, you don’t need any special technical skills to set this up. My friend Dave Foy and I will hold your hand every step of the way.
This entry point at the top of your funnel is also going to help you start or continue to grow your email list which is a very important asset to have in your business.
Next, you’ll learn how to create your one piece of educational content that will position you as the authority and showcase your unique process to your new clients. And don’t worry if you don’t have a unique process right now. You’ll learn the process for creating a unique process. It’s super simple.
You’ll also discover how to use this one piece of content to position your process as the vehicle that your client needs to get from where they are now to where they want to be.
Then you’ll get your application or inquiry process set up so that you can filter out those incoming leads and avoid wasting time with people who are just not a good fit.
You’ll get your application process set up and plugged into your calendar so you can wake up to appointments with highly qualified leads, eager to talk to you about how you can help them. This is not a fairy tale. Hand on heart. I promise you. This will change the way you think about lead gen and attracting clients forever.
Next, you’ll discover one of the most valuable pieces of the puzzle in your business. We call it the client scorecard. And it’s a sanity check of sorts. It allows you to get your gut feeling about someone out of your gut and onto paper.
However, if they are a good fit, then we’ll help you run great discovery sessions and turn these prospects into new clients. These discovery sessions can also become a service on their own that you get paid for. We have plenty of students who sell discovery sessions and don’t move forward with a larger project. Because the client isn’t ready or it turns out, they’re not a good fit. At least you’ve been paid for your work up until this point.
Next you’ll learn how to write a proposal or a statement of work and nurture the relationship before they sign on. Don’t worry, you’re not going to have to go off and create a whole bunch of proposal templates or email nurture campaigns because of course, we’ve already done that for you.
In the next part of the blueprint you’ll learn how to onboard new clients and set their expectations from day one.
This is the feedback we get from our students all the time. Their clients absolutely love how good their process is. Then it’s time to deliver an outstanding project.
Now, let’s be clear. This training will not teach you how to build websites, design brands, do SEO or run social media campaigns for clients.
It will help you build great relationships with those clients, manage the project profitably, avoid scope creep and provide an outstanding customer experience for your clients so that they turn into raving fans.
At the end of the project, you’ll learn how to off board those clients and set their expectations about the level of support they can get from you moving forward.
And if there’s any client training required to manage what it is you’ve built for them, we’ll walk you through how to do that as well.
Finally, you’ll learn how to transition these clients into recurring revenue care plans or support retainers. This really is the holy grail of all business models. The more recurring revenue you build, the more empowered you are, the more you can pick and choose the clients you work with and the projects you take on.
We’ll also show you how to transition your legacy clients onto recurring revenue care plans and retainers and on the off chance that you need to fire an existing client because they’re no longer a good fit, we’ll also walk you through how to do that gracefully and with your integrity intact.
You just need to follow the steps, watch the short training videos, download the templates and take action. Then you can share your wins with us and we can include you in our success stories.
At the end of the training you’ll receive your certificate and you’ll be encouraged to print it out, take a photo and share it in our community group, like all these beautiful people have.
The first bonus is a bundle of three complete done for you funnels designed and built for you that you can import in a few clicks.
Now we do show you how to build these funnels in the program if you’d prefer to do it yourself, but if you want to save yourself some time and just get moving fast, you can import one of our pre-built funnels and follow the very easy video tutorials and just get it done in an afternoon.
Aside from the carefully curated modules that will show you how to consistently attract high-quality, pre-qualified leads to your service-based business on autopilot, one of the most valuable aspects of this course is the chance to become a member of our online community.
As part of the Digital Agency Blueprint, you’ll get a complementary 12 month membership into our awesome online community.
This is where you’ll get access to your coaches for advice and feedback, connect with the other students, find a buddy, and share your funnels to be constructively critiqued by others.
Unless you’re brand new to Agency Mavericks, you’ll know that we have stacks of valuable educational content, and you’ll get access to everything.
Here’s just a taste of what is available:
How do you price projects when you have no clue if the number is going to be too big of too small? Chris shares his experience of struggling to price a project early on his early career. In this course, you will learn the basics of pricing in a practical and useful way, which you can implement immediately.
You are going to learn the #1 tip for improving your closing percentage. Discover the secret order you need to follow that makes all the difference. See how Jason spent less than 15 minutes creating a proposal. Finally, discover how to eliminate the prospect from going DARK after you send the proposal. It’s an incredible chance to learn from an expert in this area. This course is specifically for high-end proposals.
Kimberly Lipari from teaches us the three pillars of Preventive Project Management. Expectations, communication and time. If you’ve ever been stressed out about managing client expectations during a project, then this is a must watch.
You’re tired of being dependent on word-of-mouth referrals and the occasional leads that come to you via Google search.
You’re more than ready to raise your rates but find yourself lowballing quotes to protect every potential sale.
You want a predictably reliable way of filling your client pipeline so you can stop living month-to-month and start making big-picture decisions about the future, like growing your team, for example.
You’re ready to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and see beyond your current experience what’s possible, both personally and financially.
You’re a doer, and you know that for things to change in the years to come, you need to make changes to the way you do things today.
You’re willing to be of support to others in the online community. A rising tide lifts all boats and all that.

Good question. We’ve been doing this since 2013 and have trained thousands of students who have achieved all sorts of life-changing results.
Search the web for any bad reviews of Agency Mavericks. You won’t find any.
We have loads of 5-star reviews on Google and Facebook. Plus, we offer a full 30-day 100% money-back guarantee, so you have nothing to lose.
The simple answer? You don’t. And we don’t either.
The truth is, we have no idea what you do when we’re out of the room, or how good you are at following instructions and executing new ideas.
All we can do is point you to the testimonials on this page so you can see what happened when others followed our strategies and committed fully.
That’s totally fine! The core marketing principles that I teach throughout the course are entirely “page builder agnostic” and transcend any individual piece of tech.
So while we’ll show you how to build in Elementor, you could easily achieve those same things using another page builder if you already have one you know and love!
No. We teach you how to build a high converting sales funnel using WordPress and some free plugins. Of course, you can use Clickfunnels if you want to, but that’s entirely up to you.
We find that students get the best results when they set aside 2-3 hours a week to focus on implementing what they learn. How you carve out that time is really up to you and how you learn best, but know that it’s entirely possible to get tremendous results from the Digital Agency Blueprint, even in just 30 minutes a day!
When it comes down to it, the question of whether the Digital Agency Blueprint is worth the investment is really up to you.
Of course, you can find heaps of advice online for free, but in reality, you’re probably already wasting hours searching for answers to simple questions, only to wind up feeling none the wiser.
Alternatively, you can make a one-time investment in the Digital Agency Blueprint and receive lifetime access to a course that promises to make building your agency easier and more profitable than ever before.
The bottom line?
When you join us, you’re investing in more than just an online program – you’re investing in yourself and your future.
Payment can be made with PayPal or any major credit card.
Yes, absolutely. It’s slightly more expensive in total than paying in full upfront, to account for extra admin time and costs.
As soon as you’ve enrolled, you’ll receive an email from us with all the information you need to access the online classroom where the welcome video will be waiting for you.
This email will also provide details of how to join the group. We’re biased, clearly, but we think we’re pretty awesome at creating community, and know our respective groups to be some of the friendliest, most engaged, and supportive groups online!
And with students all over the world, we predict there’ll rarely be a time when someone isn’t online to answer your questions or help celebrate your wins.
