Number 87: Send branded SEO reports to your client every week. I use a tool called My SEO Tool dot com. I think last check it was about $200.00 a year, and what it allows you to do is set up your clients' website, and their keywords. And it produces a beautiful looking SEO ranking report every week, and it can also produce reports on analytics, backlinks, social media, any pay per click campaigns they're running, and you can brand it with your logo.
It has a beautiful white labeled client portal that your client can log into, and check their reports, or you just send them a PDF every week with all of their keywords and the movement across all of the search engines being Yahoo, Google. It shows them where they're currently ranking for each of those keywords in the search engines.
If you've got SEO campaigns running for your clients, it's a great proof of capability, it's a great proof of performance. A way of saying to your clients this is what we're doing for you, here are the results. You're still ranking really well in Google or you've increased this week, or hey this week you've gone done on this keyword, we need to do some work on this particular keyword to stay competitive.
Let's talk about our social strategy, let's talk about giving away some free reports, or writing an EBook, or partnering up with someone, whatever it is. It's a great way to keep the conversation going, get more consulting work and keep you top of mind with your clients.
